The Devaronian Legion was one of the Separatist volunteer legions that fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. It was the smallest, but also one of the best trained, of the volunteer units in the Separatist Droid Army. As the name implies, it consisted solely of Devaronian volunteers. All of them were formerly part of the Devaronian Army, which was a highly trained force. The Legion had a strength of 1,700 troops, organized into one battalion. As and elite force, it primarily served guard roles, such as providing escort for high ranking Separatists.
