Ezatollah Sahabi ( Tehran , May 5 1930 - there, May 31 2011 ) was an Iranian activist, politician and humanist. His father, Yadollah Sahabi , played an important role during the Iranian Revolution in 1979. Sahabi was appointed a member of the Council for the Islamic Revolution on 12 February 1979. In 1980 this was followed his election as a member of the Majlis of Iran , the legislative body in Iran. He was best known as the leader of the Nationalist-Religious movement . On May 1, 2011 Sahabi fell into a coma . On May 31, he died from the impact at the age of 81.
