| - Richard Dalton is an NPC of Nicholas Ealing's. A nervous, inexperienced man, Nicholas has taken him under his wing somewhat and attempted to mould him into more of a capable officer. He took part in the Normandy Campaign and relieved Sergeant George O'Brian of his post at Carentan and was also present during the planning stages of Operation Stormcrow, although he himself did not take part in the discussions. He was reprimanded by Nicholas Ealing in a confidential letter, in which he was disciplined for getting drunk in a nearby tavern and "made the shocking claim that [he was] a 'widowed midwestern housewife' by the name of Audrey". During the later stages of the war, he requisitioned a plane (by the name of Ulysses) and convinced Nicholas Ealing among others to join him on its virgin flight. Horribly predicitably, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing somewhere over Belgium and the soldiers within were ultimately taken prisoner by German forces. Dalton redeemed himself somewhat by trying to protect the young girl they had found in the snow from their captors and was knocked unconscious for his trouble. Ironically, had it not been for his foolishness, Adelheid would almost certainly have died. .
