- The Funeral Director is a Character in DEXTER. He is featured after the death of Rita Morgan, as a funeral director that occasionally deals with the deaths of cops or their loved ones in planning the ceremonies. Debra Morgan recommends him to Dexter and they meet with him, with Dexter noting his ability to "act sincere" with his sympathies wondering how he does that. As he seats them down, he offers Dexter some tissues in case he needs them and goes over how "Rita will be remembered". He speaks on the importance of the obituary but brings up how Dexter can express his feelings about Rita in his own words. Dexter looks at him then suddenly stands up and leaves, while Debra as well as the director look a little shocked. She decides to take over and says she'll get what he needs for the paper, before asking whatever else is needed.
