- The Boner (ぼなあ, Bonaa) is a weapon in the video game Shadows of the DAMNED. It is one of the many forms taken by the demonic Johnson, in this case a revolver. Demon bones are used as ammunition for the Boner, hence its name, which serves as a double entendre for an erect penis. Maras Grim's Blue Gem allows Johnson to take on a new revolver transformation that replaces the Boner, called the Hotboner. A temporary third upgrade is also later available when calling the Angel Kiss club from payphones. Here Garcia Hotspur holds the phone up to Johnson so that once he becomes aroused, he transforms into the Hotboner and extends the barrel of the gun exponentially, becoming the Big Boner, a high-powered impromptu cannon.
