About: Can the 1998 nissan pathfinder use e85   Sponge Permalink

I accidently put 7 gallons of e85 in my 2002 Pathfinder and then topped it off with another 7 gallons of regular unleaded. It drove fine after that, but I refilled every 1/4 tank with more regular unleaded to continuously reduce the alcohol percentage. My guess is that your car would run with it, but if you use it consistently, it'll die an earlier death due the deterioration of the rubber fuel lines and gaskets.
