The Atrocity Channel was a television channel in 2015, which was broadcast on channel 57. Judging by the name, it can be safely assumed that this channel broadcast footage of wickedness and acts of cruelty. According to the Newsline column on the front page of the October 22, 2015 issue of USA Today, the channel's immolation special had achieved “super hot ratings”, and the Network Executive, Everett Pilson, had announced a “cutting edge follow up” entitled Evisceration Through the Ages.

Marty McFly, Jr. was watching this channel on the left lens of his video glasses when the McFlys sat down for dinner. Bearing in mind that Marty Jr. didn't make a sudden dash for the bathroom at any point, it would appear he was far more absorbed in ESPN's coverage of the IFL Chicago Bears -v- Spacers game on channel 211-D on his right lens instead. Either that, or Marty Jr. had a very strong stomach.
