- Nivrim – Niewielki las porastający zachodnie brzegi Sirionu na północ od moczarów Aelin-Uial aż do rzeki Taeglin. Był to jedyny obszar na zachód od Sirionu będący wewnątrz Obręczy Meliany. Z tej przyczyny zwany też Marchią Zachodnią. Połączenie z resztą królestwa Doriathu odbywało się przez obronny most na Sirionie na południe od dopływu Esgalduiny. W lesie tym rosły wyjątkowo potężne dęby. Przez las ten była prowadzona Niënor. Gdy odpoczywała zaatakowali ją i jej towarzyszy orkowie. Dowódca straży Mablung bronił się tak, że Niënor zdołała zbiec do lasu.
