Kan Mukai (向井寛 Mukai Kan, October 16, 1937 - June 9, 2008) aka Hiroshi Mukai and Patrick Kan (カン・パトリック Kan Patorikku) was a director, cinematographer, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work in Pink films during the early years of that genre's existence. As a producer, through his Shishi Productions studio, Mukai helped the early careers of many directors, including Hisayasu Satō and Yōjirō Takita. He directed nearly 200 films and produced approximately 500.
