Ffarquhar Road is a station on the Arlesdale Railway and was also one on the Mid Sodor Railway. In the heyday of the latter, the station had a platform and a shelter made from granite which came from a nearby quarry connected to the station loop via a branch line. When the Arlesdale Railway was built upon the disused trackbed of the Mid Sodor twenty years later, the station was updated to have two platforms instead of one. The shelter was also replaced with an enclosed station building. A watermill is located nearby.
