The Sinclair ZX Spectrum, usually known as the Spectrum (or the Speccy to its fans) is a 1982 computer that was hugely popular, and is said to be still being made (as unauthorised clones) in Eastern Europe to this day. It was a successor to the ZX80 and the ZX81; its working name during development was "ZX82". In 1984, Hudson Soft had the 1983 Japanese video game "Bomber Man" (later Bomberman) ported to this system. Europe received the ZX Spectrum (as well as MSX) version under both the original title and the more common name Eric and the Floaters.
