In 2005, when Brennan and fellow Cleveland Browns broadcasters Bob Golic and Reggie Rucker were forced to buy time during a preseason game due to a lightning storm, the three achieved local stardom after a now-legendary on-air breakdown. [citation needed] Brennan is currently an executive at Key Bank. His nieces are Haley Brennan and Brianna Brennan. He has three brothers named Marty, James(Jim), and Charlie.
