  • "There are two key differences between you and these guys; they can't move, and you can't fire deadly ninja-seeking rockets." — (As written in the N in-game help).
  • Homing Missile is a weapon that appears in The 2nd Runner. It is a very useful weapon which launches multiple, powerful missiles that acquire individual targets. The number of missiles that can be launched is increased by pressing the circle button harder.
  • A Homing missile, once it had latched on to a target, could use its micro-computers to twist back towards its target.
  • The Homing Missile is a secondary vehicle weapon featured in the multiplayer mode Road Rage in RAGE. It is unlocked by default at level 1 and comes equipped on the Scout class and Outlaw vehicles. There are only 20 Homing Missiles loaded in to start with. This weapon works similarly to the Viper Rockets featured in the Campaign, as the missiles target the enemy vehicle and chase after it until an obstruction destroys it.
  • The Wave Beam and the Annihilator in the Metroid Prime Trilogy are also both capable of homing in on enemies.
  • The Homing Missile is an obstacle in Death Mode, it only appears in Stage 11 and possibly in Stage 29
  • The Homing Missile is a pretty cool weapon. It is jist a big blue and red firework rocket, who follows the enemy once the gunsight locks and turns red, on an enemy plane or other target. It is the first "special weapon" the axis' gain access to. You will get 10 rockets for each pickup.
  • Weapons of the homing missile type are very similar to the Missile type weapons except that they fire guided missiles rather non-guided missiles. Homing Missiles must lock onto a target before the missile will fire. Once locked on two green brackets appear to the left and right of the screen, a player can then turn slightly before firing, and because they track, the missiles will curve around obstacles if aimed correctly.
  • The Homing Missile is a weapon that has been available since the first Worms game. It's somewhat similar to the Bazooka, but this weapon is able to home at targets. It is the most basic homing weapon. The Homing Missile is an effective weapon to reach those hard to get targets. It is usually in short supply, so only use it when you really need it. Remember that when you fire the Missile it will take about a second or so to lock onto the target. Be sure to use this time to fire the Missile away from or around any possible obstruction between yourself and the target.
  • Homing Missile (ホーミングミサイル Hōmingu Misairu?) is a Special Weapon from Mega Man Volnutt in the Mega Man Legends series that appears in Mega Man Legends 2, Rockman DASH: 5tsu no Shima no Daibouken! and Namco × Capcom.
  • Many types of gunships and transports utilized this type of missile as a strong form of defense against enemy starfighters and turrets. Boba Fett's Slave I was equipped with homing missiles, and CIS droid starfighters and Hailfire droids were equipped with a large amount of explosive homing missiles. Those fired by the latter could easily penetrate the durasteel plating of Republic Low Altitude Assault Transports. Some types of homing missile could be launched and then controlled manually from the cockpit of a starfighter, or from a small computer panel if deployed from a portable rocket launcher.
  • Homing missiles appear frequently, just like Fire Missiles. They have a distinct, purple-colored shell and a purple streak following the missile when fired. Because of their frequency in levels, strong homing capability, and overall dependability, homing missiles are one of the most frequently used weapons in the Twisted Metal series. Unfortunately, the missile is relatively weak (Except in (1995) & 2) so it takes more than just one to truly dish out a decent amount of damage to any opposition.
