The Sentinels interpret the most “by the book” definitions of justice, and consist of more conventional heroes than anti-heroes. These heroes may have some form of secret identity, or not, but it is assumed that they are known to public in some way and that their actions are subject to scrutiny. Therefore they must operate within the boundaries of law when in action and rarely deviate from it. The Sentinels organization cares about appearances, and attempts to retain a positive image.
