Command & Conquer: Arena was a cancelled C&C game which was not announced publicly during its development stage. The game was not intended to be a canonical Tiberium Universe game, but rather a multiplayer-based spin-off of Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath aimed at the Asian market. Higher branches of Electronic Arts commanded the addition of a single-player campaign and marking the game as an official sequel, despite the negative reception of the decision among developers at Electronic Arts Los Angeles. Thus, the project was transformed into Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, released in 2010 to highly negative reception.
