David Ezell (June 19, 1928 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Jacksonville, FL. He competed in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. Ezell's debut came in 1952, when he competed at Augusta. Starting 6th in the tiny fourteen-car field, Ezell put together a spectacular race - falling just one lap down and recording a career-best 3rd place effort. It would be yet another while until Ezell competed in his final event in the sport, racing at Jacksonville in 1961. Starting 19th in the field of twenty-three, Ezell was hampered by a mid-race wheel issue and finished 18th.

Unfortunately, Ezell couldn't find that magic when he returned to the track by racing at Daytona Beach in 1956. He still performed well in the large seventy-five car field, starting 54th and driving to a mid-pack 30th place effort. It would be yet another while until Ezell competed in his final event in the sport, racing at Jacksonville in 1961. Starting 19th in the field of twenty-three, Ezell was hampered by a mid-race wheel issue and finished 18th.
