| - Marlon has been writing through the stormy night, working on version after version of his letter to Tricia, but he wakes with it still frustratingly unfinished. But then inspiration strikes. He starts again: "101 things I love about you". The weather's still getting worse and Marlon's got up to 46 when the power goes out - but his prayers are answered when it's only temporary. He leaves the letter for Tricia with Diane, asking to get it to her before she catches the last bus. Diane tries to talk Tricia out of leaving that night, but Tricia says that she wants to go while she loves, and is loved by, Marlon - rather than waiting for things to go further wrong. Andy and Jack have their work cut out keeping the farm under control in the storm. Robert, meanwhile, stays in the house with Donna, Victoria and Katie. Donna needs a lift home, and she is hoping the newly-single Robert will oblige, but they persuade her to call for a taxi instead. Robert wants to be alone, once more, with Katie. Louise and Ashley have planned an afternoon meal out together, sneaking it in before his sermon-writing. However, as the weather gets worse and worse, they leave the meal early hoping to still get back in time. However they still haven't made it when the congregation arrive, and there is talk of Ethan standing in. A fallen power line forces them to take another route, making them even later, but they are soon on another road back. They speed toward one of the final bridges of their journey, but a fallen tree causes them to swerve off the road, and the car crashes violently through trees, over rocks, and finally comes to a grim stop in the centre of the river.
