Detournement is the unique discipline of the Moulding Room Shadow Cult, a group that uses surveillance and recording technology to gain a frightening amount of information and, to a lesser extent, power. They are, so far, the only Shadow Cult to have a discipline unique to them. Detournement is a discipline with two purposes: One, it is a discipline of surveillance, for gaining information and gathering knowledge. Its second purpose is significantly more insidious. It also disguises the flesh, for purposes of impersonation, usually at a fatal cost to the person who is being impersonated.

In order to learn Detournement, you must have three dots in the Shadow Cult merit for The Moulding Room, at which point it can be learned at a cost of 6x New Dots.
