The Foresters were a semiprofessional soccer team based in Münster, Germany in the 1930s. One of their best players had been Saul Goldman, but by 1938 the Nuremberg Race Laws had forced the Foresters to cut the Jewish Goldman from their roster. Most of Goldman's teammates were unhappy to see him go.
