Hiroyuki Owaku was a member of Team Silent and worked on the first four Silent Hill games as a writer. He co-wrote Silent Hill as an "event programmer" and wrote the scenarios for Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. He also contributed to the lyrics for some of the games, including "Tender Sugar", "Cradle of Forest", "Room of Angel", and "Waiting For You", for which he was credited in Silent Hill 4: The Room. He was credited with a "special thanks" from the Silent Hill: Origins team.
