Osaji Hux was a member of the Osaji family, who was a member of the family business, the Osaji Syndicate. During the Galactic Civil War, she disguised herself and in a cantina on Shulstine V, hired a group of spacers to kill her brothers, Osaji Uhares and Osaji Varane, and herself, not revealing to them her true identity. The spacers tracked her to the planet Muskree, where she planned to kill them, to prevent details getting out about who ordered the deaths of her brothers. However, an Imperial squad that had also been tracking her arrived and this resulted in the Battle of Hardscrabble, fought between the spacers, the townsfolk, the Imperials and Hux's thugs.
