Left To Rot is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the player assumes the role of a nameless man, who awakes in prison with no memory of his past. The players first objective is to escape, soon discovering the world has been overthrown with undead. Players must do battle in order to survives as well as regain memory of the main character's mysterious past, the journey takes the player on a twisted path to the irreparable truth. The game is also featured in the 2012 film "Starlet (Film)", staring James Ransone and Dree Hemingway. 'The "Starlet" film crew, connected with Jason Welge of Panzer Gaming Studios, saying he was "enthusiastic", about having "Left To Rot" appear in the film.'
