| - Section 7 was a workstation on the main floor of the CTU Los Angeles building. It was adjacent to the CTU Chief of Staff's workstation, near the door of the conference room. Jack Bauer spoke to Nina Myers in Section 7 shortly after 3am on Day 1, explaining that Richard Walsh had been killed and there was a traitor in CTU. Jamey Farrell then worked on the computers there, attempting to decrypt the key card, and discovering the address 18166 San Fernando Road. However, George Mason imposed a lockdown, so Jamey hid the card and went back to her workstation. ("Day 1: 3:00am-4:00am")

("Day 1: 3:00am-4:00am") After the lockdown was lifted, Jamey went back to Section 7 to continue decrypting the card. Nina Myers requested that she come to forensics to assist with the ID of a dead body, and Milo Pressman took over the decrypt. Later Jack Bauer approached Milo at his computer, knocking over his cup of nuts and switching the key cards. Milo realised the cards had been switched a short while later. ("5:00am-6:00am", "6:00am-7:00am") At around 3:20pm, Jack was using a computer in Section 7 and realised he couldn't log in. Milo came over and gave him backdoor access to the system as Jack's privileges had been downgraded. As he left, Jack asked Milo to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity on the servers. ("3:00pm-4:00pm")
