Thomas "Fingers" Washington was a member of Frank Cowan's gang. He was an easy-going black man who proudly bragged of being the best safe cracker on the East Coast. He taught Imp how to pick locks. He was later caught and served a ten year sentence before going straight as a locksmith until he came down with Alzheimer’s. He died in late May of 2007.
