For our purposes, an open business practices the following: 1. * price tags rather than price "quotes" 2. * linear pricing rather than "package dealing" or "bundling" 3. * product catalogs published as downloadable databases or spreadsheets rather than printed books or webstacle-laden websites My own hunch is that this is probably theoretically impossible, given the apparent fact that Information Does Not Want To Be Free. Nevertheless open humanity has been proposed as an even more ambitious and optimistic take on open business.
