Yumi Tsukirino(月梨野 ゆみTsukirino Yumi), who also writes as Yumi Tsukirino(つきりの ゆみTsukirino Yumi), is a manga artist best known for her manga adaptations of Pokémon. She made her debut in 1996, winning the Shogakukan new artist award grand prize. She wrote and illustrated Magical Pokémon Journey (1997–2003), which was published in Japan by Shogakukan, in North America by Viz Media, and in France by Glénat, as well as the spinoff series, Pocket Monsters Chamo-Chamo ★ Pretty ♪(ポケットモンスター チャモチャモ★ぷりてぃ♪Poketto Monsutā Chamochamo★Puriti♪) (2003–2006).
