The MA1FM and it's sibling with a quilted maple top, the MA1QM, replaced the MA2HSH, MA3HH and MA3HSH from the previous year. The configuration listed below is only the stock model. These guitars could be custom-ordered with a variety of pickup and fretboard configurations. The MA1FM was discontinued after 1991 along with the entire American Master line.
