She was practically enslaved as a child and she was forced to abide by the man's will, or else she'd get beaten until she bled. | - Wandah was once a street urchin who was raised by a brutal old man who claimed her as his property. She was practically enslaved as a child and she was forced to abide by the man's will, or else she'd get beaten until she bled. In 9 BBY, at the age of seventeen, she learned that she could use the Force to perceive things as well as to cause damage with it. She trained her mind how to control what power she had, and one day when her so-called "father" attempted to attack her, she revolted and crushed his heart with the Force, killing him. The next day, she escaped and went back into the streets, living the life of a vagabond. She never knew her true name, so she discarded the name her "owner" had once given her and named herself Wandah. When the time was right, Wandah decided to join the Black Manka fight club, as she believed she could win as well as score some money. She became a pretty successful duelist, however she never dared to face Kino-Qu, who was said to be the greatest of them all. When the rookie fighter Epin Lanmaw defeated and killed Kino-Qu, Wandah believed that she had overestimated Kino-Qu and she decided to challenge Epin herself. When the duel began, the two force users were quite evenly matched, and the battle was a tough one. The crowd even had chosen for them to fight to the death, by means of suffocation. However, Wandah did not realize Kino-Qu's mistake during the fight; his overconfidence. She too had made the same mistake, and she ended up choking to death on the poisons that filled the air of the arena, as Epin managed to resist using his training. Wandah's death, although insignificant, lost many gamblers a lot of money, as for they believed Wandah surely would have defeated Epin. However, they were obviously wrong.
