About: The Elder Scrolls Wiki:Style and Formatting/Creatures   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

For most creatures in Skyrim, there is a main creature (e.g. Draugr) that has subtypes (e.g. Restless Draugr) of varying strengths. Because of the many similarities of the main type and its subtypes, we usually combine all the information into one main article, and allow for differences to be specified in a subheading. See Bear for an example. If you would like to discuss changes in bestiary style and formatting, feel free to in this page's talk page.

See Bear for an example. There are always exceptions to this, such as in cases of unique types of a creature. For example, Porkchop the Boar and Bacon (The Thieves Den plug-in) can have their own articles as they are unique types of Boar. Unique horses such as Shadowmere may also get their own special pages.
