| - Mattias was the steward of Mirith for many years. He could always be seen walking about inside the Mirith Castle, and he rarely saw the outside world. He used to give 3 Full Heal Potions and 100 Experience Points to anyone who brought him 10 Bolts, as part of a bounty on the ancient enemies of Mirith, the Lizard Men. Oftentimes, people would report their adventures to Mattias so that the steward would relay the information to the Royal Court. However, when Tirana captured the city after the Blue Moon Festival of 438, Mattias was slain. His post remained empty for nearly a year, until his son Mattias Jr. was appointed steward in the Lucky Moon of 439.
