A heavy interceptor, the INT-66 was used by some independent systems for systems patrol and defense operations; private ownership of a INT-66 outside of the military was rare, though some individuals, such as licensed bounty hunters and other qualified individuals could obtain one. While heavy interceptors as a whole were generally under-powered engine wise, their superior weapon and shield systems made them impressive gunships. Despite this, it wasn't uncommon to upgrade their engine systems for better output and maneuverability.
