Battle Station Operations was an Imperial Military branch of the Galactic Empire. It specialized in using siege engines, such as orbital battle stations. Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin founded the branch, after being placed in command of the Death Star. After the death of Tarkin and most of his staff during the Battle of Yavin, a Grand Admiral from the Imperial Navy, Kirill Harridax, was given the position of Chief of Battle Station Operations. Sena Tavari served in it, and later in the leadership of it, Battle Station Command.
