The Ghâshâd, known currently as Whelm, were the loyal servants of Rulke and ancient enemies of the Aachim. After the taking of Rulke, the Ghâshâd became Whelm and in 60 BTM swore themselves to Yggur. After Rulke was freed from the Nightland most of the Whelm reverted to their former identities as Ghâshâd. After his death they would once again call themselves Whelm, before swearing themselves to the Numinator.
