Sir Robert de Kendale (or Kendall) (died 1330) was Mayor of London in 1321. He also had previously been granted the office of Warden of the Cinque Ports in 1307 and of Constable of Dover Castle in 1314. He took part in a tournament at Dunstable in 1309 where his arms were recorded as "Argent a bend Azure a label of 3 points Gules". He owned lands in Hertfordshire and was buried in Hitchin parish church. A mention here [1].
