Grodo XVIII, the self-proclaimed Emperor of the Crodin, was the leader of the Crodin rebellion on Shri, rebelling against Ginkus’ forces, prior to the fall of the Zorelta. His armies were augmented by advanced alien technology, allowing victory over the peaceful and democratic Zorelta. He proclaimed himself ‘emperor’ as he seized more and more land from the Zorelta, and the populace feared that not even Ginkus would be able to repel him. His final victory over Ginkus came when he overthrew the capital city and took over Ginkus’ throne building, capturing Ginkus.

  • Grodo XVIII, the self-proclaimed Emperor of the Crodin, was the leader of the Crodin rebellion on Shri, rebelling against Ginkus’ forces, prior to the fall of the Zorelta. His armies were augmented by advanced alien technology, allowing victory over the peaceful and democratic Zorelta. He proclaimed himself ‘emperor’ as he seized more and more land from the Zorelta, and the populace feared that not even Ginkus would be able to repel him. He armed himself with a ball that produces bolts of energy; Perhaps this was a symbolic counter to Ginkus’ staff, which was a powerful symbol to all of Ginkus’ people. Nonetheless, Grodo’s energy ball compared to Ginkus’ staff poorly, to wildly under-exaggerate. His final victory over Ginkus came when he overthrew the capital city and took over Ginkus’ throne building, capturing Ginkus. Ginkus escaped and returned shortly thereafter, fighting his way back into his building, where he fought Grodo in person and made short work of him. Leaving Grodo sprawled on the ground, Ginkus proceeded to freeze the building in time for 1,000 years. Perhaps unfortunately, Grodo was kept in stasis, and wasn't around to see his rebellion crush all resistance and become a dictatorial regieme, in near-complete control of the planet. (Ginkus' Odyssey Game: The Last of the Zorelta) 1,000 years later, Balzak Globotron explored the frozen capital building, encountering Grodo still sprawled on the floor, frozen in time, in front of a window that overlooks the Crodin empire he created.
