- The Goddess Shield is a shield obtainable in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and is the second upgrade to the Sacred Shield, following the Divine Shield, having further increased durability. While it is not the strongest shield in the game in terms of how many hits it can sustain before breaking (the strongest being the Fortified Shield, not including the unbreakable Hylian Shield), it has the ability to regenerate and is able to block not only fire and electricity but also curse attacks. Merely brandishing it will also cause Cursed Bokoblins to back away slowly. It can be obtained at the Scrap Shop in the Skyloft Bazaar. It costs 150 Rupees to upgrade to the Goddess Shield from the Divine Shield, and the materials needed are four Dusk Relics, three Bird Feathers, one Blue Bird Feather
