- Gourdy is a genie who lives inside a gourd. He is half the size of a Smurf. Unlike many genies, he can grant unlimited wishes. He first appeared in the cartoon show episode "Farmer's Genie", where he was found in Farmer Smurf's melon patch. He became thankful of Farmer for freeing him and promised to help in any way he could, but whenever Gourdy uses his magic to help his "mastuh Farmuh" by saying "casabah cadoda" and sometimes the reverse "cadoda casabah", the magic goes wrong, which frustrates Farmer Smurf. Nevertheless, he has a loyal servant personality, as seen when he thanks Farmer for freeing him by kissing his foot. He begged and pleaded an angered Farmer to not throw him away and to let him stay. At the end of "Farmer's Genie" Farmer agreed to let Gourdy stay if he wouldn't do any

- Gourdy is a genie who lives inside a gourd. He is half the size of a Smurf. Unlike many genies, he can grant unlimited wishes. Gourdy expressed his gratitude towards Farmer for letting him stay by giving him a thank-you kiss on the cheek. However, at one point when Gourdy was rejected by Farmer, he was granting Gargamel's wishes of getting the Smurfs, which was against his will, showing that he is still loyal to Farmer. Papa managed to trick Gargamel by writing in the cookbook Gargamel was reading from: "I wish Farmer Smurf was Gourdy's new master." Gourdy's design is based on that of the genie from the Peyo comic series "Pierrot And The Lamp".
