Walter Montero was the 38th Vice-General of New Englia, serving under Benjamin Riles-Scott. Before ascending to the position, he served as the Speaker of the National Assembly and represented Central Province's 27th congressional district for 21 years. He announced he would retire at the end of his second term to pursue a more private life away from politics. He lived with his wife in Mount Royal until his death on June 1, 3029. He is buried in his hometown of Layton.
