Dick Grayson is in hospital, being treated for the bullet wound to his arm sustained while pursuing Deathstroke. Those close to him are unimpressed, seeing this as further evidence that he should turn in his badge and concentrate on being Nightwing. After an interview with reporter Maxine Michaels, Dick promises he will do just that, but when Batgirl brings him evidence that Deathstroke's target is Amy Rohrbach, he rushes straight to the police department. And before long, he has to save Amy in such a way that she tumbles to his secret identity.
