The Social Democratic Party is a political party in Cobura. It was formed in the year 3417 by user MrHuman. There was an election right away, and the party, predictably, achieved exactly no seats. But the Social Democrats remained active, voting on every bill to come through, actively participating in debate, and even passing bills of their own. Some of the most notable SDP-sponsored bills were the Giving the Poor the Money to Live Act, which instituted a living wage requirement and free college tuition for those with less income, and the Pollution Prevention Act, which put strict pollution standards into place.

| - The Social Democratic Party is a political party in Cobura. In 3420, when elections were held, the SDP achieved 47 of the 500 seats in the Assembly. This gave them newfound strength, but even more impressive was their 10% of the Presidential vote (for candidate Harry Brenner). Just after the 3420 elections, the FinEquaDef Platform went inactive, and the SDP called for new elections. Currently the election bill is just about to pass, and the only two bills in the legislative session were the SDP's. Both passed, and this bodes well for the party heading into the elections.
