Broad, shallow rings of dust encircle the gas giant, and it has several curiously-shaped moons, none of which are truly round, or inhabitable. Two of the moons orbit Ketterslea in perfect mirrored synchronism, and upon these moons the Caspian Democratic Union installed two high-output SONG beacons. The beacons represent one of the main junctures within Union space so as to travel to and from the capital system of Caspia, although the moons were not garrisoned until after 8 ABY (see below). Naval patrols do rotate through here regularly, as the system does see a great deal of traffic and Ketterslea itself is quite a sight for the awe-inspired spacefarer.
