In e-wrestling, the secondary character (or deuteragonist or supporting character) is the second most important character to the primary character or e-wrestler. The secondary character is used by the handler to develop the primary character in promos, and is relevant enough to support in an on-air role. Most notably, the secondary character will take on the role as a manager, valet, or sidekick.
