The current men's head coach is former Miami RedHawks player and assistant coach Chris Bergeron.

The most recent regular-season championship came in 2009. The 1921 Bowling Green Normals baseball team was the first athletic team at the university to win a title, when they finished 6-1-2 in the Northwestern Ohio Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
