  • Gond (pronounced GAHND ), the Lord of All Smiths, was the intermediate deity of craft and smithwork, whose faith was the state religion of Lantan. The church of Gond was tolerated across Faerûn and members were found in both good and evil aligned human populations. He had an increasing following in rock gnome communities. In Durpar, Estagund, and Var the Golden, he was known as Zionil, patron of craftfolk, inventors and creators.
  • Gond is a super mutant member of the New California Republic Rangers. Although he fights for the right cause, he is still no brighter than most of his kind.
  • Gond, also known as the Wonderbringer, is a true neutral intermediate deity of artifice, craft and constructions. He is worshipped by blacksmiths, wood workers and engineers. Gnomes know him by the name of Nebelun.
  • For some (apparently) considerable number of generations, the Gond were raised with one major goal: selection as a "high mind" by the Krotons. All Gond youth had to submit to a series of academic tests, and, if found to possess a sufficient level of intelligence, were allowed to serve the Krotons directly. This involved entering a special area of the Gond settlement completely controlled by the Krotons.
