Runa Palefau has a long but largely blank history. She was once one of the cursed kuia of Niua Simoa, ancient ghosts who have been stripped of their identities due to some sim they committed in life. As a kuia she was known as Rua Kuia, alongside Tahi Kuia and Toru Kuia. It is not clear how long she had been dead before resurrection. She appears to have transfered her curse onto another sim, creating Wha Kuia. She is now a normal sim again, albeit with rather strange features (her hair is dark blue, not black, and she has scars on her face). She has little memory about her previous condition, and apparently no guilt over killing a sim to create Wha Kuia. She is largely silent. She is fascinated with all modern things, and this drew her into the arms of Computer Whiz Hakopi Palefau, now her
