Carnegurth was a reddish juice prepared by pressing the beautiful, brilliant crimson flowers of carnegurth, a barrel cactus native to fertile deserts (not dune seas).Carnegurth caused massive blood clotting and death in one to one hundred hours. The unpressed flowers and fruit were also somewhat toxic, acting as a generic circulatory poison.
