Darth Chicken is a dastardly space chicken seen in the "Elmo the Musical" segment, "Pizza the Musical." Space Pizza Delivery Monster Elmo is sent to deliver a pizza to Mars, losing seven of the ten slices along the way. When he reaches the red planet, he is stopped by Darth Chicken, who musically entraps Elmo in his ship's three laser cannons. The cannons are shaped like triangles, so Elmo throws the remaining slices to plug up his cannons and frying his ship, sending him away. He returns for the final bow though.

The cannons are shaped like triangles, so Elmo throws the remaining slices to plug up his cannons and frying his ship, sending him away. He returns for the final bow though. He is a spoof of Darth Vader from the Star Wars series, and his ship is an egg-shaped version of the Death Star. He also appeared at the 2012 New York Comic Con alongside Elmo and Gordon, where he was performed by John Tartaglia. The chicken also appears in the online game version of the segment, albeit with a character change. Instead of stopping Elmo with a ship, he disguises himself in Vader, Stormtrooper and Boba Fett costumes while operating toll booths funded by pizza slices.
