| - Sir Peter Browning, 15th Lord of Ringneldia, was a Human male Centran politician active during the Post-Imperial period. Part of the Centrality's nobilitātēs, he was a member and later leader of the conservative faction of the Centran parliament as well as Prime Minister in 31–39 ABY. During his service in army of the Galactic Empire and the Centran Armed Forces in his early life, he attained the rank of major and became a honorary citizen. Browning's family had been bearing the title of Lord of Ringneldia since 910 BBY. His father, Sir Robert Browning was a commodore of the Centran Armed Forces and coordinated the final operation to push pirate forces out of the Ringneldia system in 30 BBY; his mother, Victoria Browning, was a writer and historian. Adhering to family traditions, he joined the C.A.F. in 7 BBY and saw action in both local affairs and, later, regional skirmishes as part of an Imperial ground detachment. Following the defeat of the Galactic Empire at Endor in 4 ABY and the Empire's subsequent regression to Coreward fortress worlds, Browning retired from the Imperial Army and enlisted as an officer trainee at the Centran Armed Forces' academy on Tund, graduating in 9 ABY as an ensign attached to the local navy unit. Throughout his service, he participated in counter–piracy activities and sieges of criminal facilities, coordinating the ground battalion belonging to the naval force; he eventually retired in 20 ABY as a major. After leaving the armed forces, Browning joined the Conservative Party of the Centrality, taking part in its campaign advertising in the Ringneldia system and other Rimward Centran possessions. He gradually worked his way upwards in the ranks of the party and assumed leadership in 30 ABY with the resignation of Vilos Cohaagen's successor. Browning advocated a reform of the armed forces, which had been forced to retreat from two Centran–occupied subsectors, and promised higher wages for military members outside the officers' rank. The campaigning eventually resulted in him becoming Prime Minister in 31 ABY; he would start a process of military reconstruction and social reforms. Browning stepped down in 39 ABY before the elections and returned to Ringneldia, where he died in 52 ABY.
