Sensing the Defel's mastery of the Dark Side, Taral allowed the Darksider to proceed and eventually pledged his loyalty to him after Sivter freed the Schrai from a command that kept them bound to the planet. He has since been put in charge of guarding Sivter's private study on Arcanix.
