This cousin race of the Guardians of the Universe had harnessed the violet light of love in the Emotional Spectrum with their secrets of this energy being stored within the structure that they named the Hall of Knowledge.

  • Prior to the Avatar visiting the Hall of Knowledge after surrendering to Lord Draxinusom, human thieves had broken into it, stealing the Vortex Cube. This caused the Gargoyles to seal the chamber with a force field. In Ultima VI, the Avatar learned of how Naxatilor had brought the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom to the world, therefore getting on the right path of how to return it to the void. The Avatar also took the Lens, which by that time was broken (probably the result of the thieves' burglary). After that time, with the destruction of the Realm of the Gargoyles, the Hall of Knowledge was destroyed as well.
  • The Hall of Knowledge was a large building on Kortog containing information about the Great War. It was strictly off limits to pedestrians so that they could not learn anything about it; however, Ratchet went in, and he and Clank discovered planet Fastoon, which was a Lombax planet. This came from the database, but before Clank could say any more, Ratchet rushed him out there before the security came in and caught them.
